David says:
This rock...okay...this BUNCH of rocks is at the very tip of Africa. Sheree and I were there a couple of years ago.

I happened to see a young lady perched on the rock, looking out at the ocean.

"Why is he opening this blog with such a goofy shot?" you're asking. (See? I told you I was a mentalist.)

Look at that image. Wonder what she could be thinking about. Wonder what she could be seeing. Why...from that vantage point you can be certain that she is the only person on the planet who can see the world from that exact viewpoint.

To get there, she had to PLAN to be there. She had to walk across the rocks. She had to figure out how she was going to get to the top of that rock outcrop. Then she had to do it. And if something came up along the way that she didn't plan for, she had to overcome it.

I sort of feel like her at this moment. Yesterday Sheree and I were pouring over book after book, pamphlet after pamphlet that we picked up at the RVDA show.

In my travels, I picked up one of the few resources I've seen geared exclusively to Canadian RVers. It's been a fascinating read...all about full time RVing in Canada.

We even enrolled in an RVDA Training Course via fax.

There's so much to do. So many things to learn. In short, I have a lot to get done before I get to sit on my own rock and look out at something no one in the planet is looking at.
